I had a hard time to see the borders sometimes. Makes battle maps a bit more varied by adding different conditions. If you own Blood for the Blood God DLC I highly recommend CBE l Cinematic Battle Effects Blood Addon as well. Most notably arrow trails and smoke, but some others, too. The mod is big and requires its assets (separate subscription). Game feels very "fresh" (for a lack of better word) with it. Its such a simple, yet mega effective change. Makes all banners (these unit and faction icons) prettier.
Replaces that annoying "Every faction hates me once I play a little" with a better thought out mechanic. It depends on its Framework which is a separate mod, so remember to have that, too. It gives you better faction specific victory conditions instead of the generic ones. Meaning, it touches a a lot of aspects in the game.
